"Dream Sak"
A True Story with a Happy Ending
For ten years, Beck and I shared our lives with a German Shorthair Pointer we called Bud.
From the time Bud was a pup, we played this game where Bud would sneak into our bedroom and sleep with his head on my pillow. My role in the game was to sneak up on Bud without waking him, and then "beat him up" for stealing all of my best dreams out of my "dream sak".
When Bud died of bone cancer last year, I missed him and our game more than I can express, I began to wonder if maybe Bud hadn't just been stealing my dreams....maybe he had been leaving some of his own dreams for me!
I sure slept better when we played the game.
Today we have Pete (another German Shorthair), who just turned one year old in October of 2003. Guess what....."the game" has begun again! Ergo, our product......"Dream Saks"!
